Romans in Training

Join the Roman Army for the Weekend!!

We have a limited number of sets of additional armour we maintain for new recruits. If you are interested in being a Roman Soldier or perhaps joining the dark side and living the life of a Barbarian, Please contact us. You will be expected to play the part of a miles gregarii (foot soldier) or Barbarian warrior within your physical limitations. We will dress you out, train you up, house you, provide all the equipment you need, and comraderie too. If you are 15 or older and would like to try being roman for a few days, email the commander, justuslonginus@aol.com for the forms and rules and additional information! We do of course reserve the right to be selective, but if you are interested, we'd love the chance to teach you about our hobby. You will be treated as the other re-enactors and afforded all the privileges/events that the "full time" Romans partake in! If you would like to try our Romans/Barbarians In Training program, be sure to fill out a registration form.

Other period re-enactors will enjoy this chance to step back in time!! We invite our Re-enactor brethren to come and check out the Roman Genre! CivWar Re-enactors who are "galvanizing" Roman may camp onsite in A-frames or small Wall tents, contact the Centurio for details.
