Welcome to the homepage and blog of the ISPA. The ISPA is an attempt to coordinate our re-enacting efforts for our enjoyment and to make the roman Re-enactment world in the Us a cooperative community, instead of the competitive community which seems to exist in Europe. The ISPA is a voluntary and cooperative organization, and is not an attempt by anyone to "take over" your group, and your legion standards and such are not affected beyond a few small policies (basic authenticity guidelines and zero tolerance for drug use policies). Please feel free to post your questions here, this is a new idea, and we want to make sure any questions you have are answered to your satisfaction. The basic structure has been used successfully in US Civwar reenacting, and will make us all better able to work together in an authentic and realistic enviroment.
