Merchant

Flavia Longius

Flavia Longius is the wife of our Primus Pilus.  She was born in the city of Alexandria in the Aegyptus province in 8 BC.  Flavia was born into a wealthy merchant family, having trade routes to India and China. At the age of 25 she was in Jerusalem trying to negotiate a deal with local merchants when a citizen riot started.  Our Primus Pilus, then centurion of the 1st cohort 2 century, responded.  While his men surpressed the riot the Centurion personally rescued Flavia and took her to a safe house.  During his off duty hours he returned to see Flavia, where they fell in love.  It was not long until they were married.  At age 35 her father passed away leaving her the family business.  She now not only has an exculsive trading rights with the army she is also a proud wife and mother!
