Things We Need from Re-Enactors
Looking to Help out? Here is a list of things we need to make the event better. If you can fulfill the need,
let us know!!
Tentage and Flys for the craftsmen as well as the period camps. We would all prefer Roman Leather
tents, but we are happy with Roman shaped canvas tentage and will use any Civil War or earlier A-Frame or wall tents.
Please let us know if you can bring a tent to set up.
Camp stakes (Camp Stakes for fortifying around the camp). We cannot dig up the State Park (yet)
so we need as many of these as we can get. Should be 48 inches long or so. Mark one side with your name.
Marty of Legio I makes great ones too, if you want him to make you some for the event, contact him direct at the ISPA/Legio
I Website, www.warplay.com
If you have a new member who wants to come, but you can't dress out, contact Legio VI, as we have a lot
of extra gear we would be happy to let them use it.
VEXI Flags! We ask all the attending Legions to bring any and all vexi's signums, banners and more
to show off and "Romanize" the site! Extra VEXI's can decorate the camp, the roadway, or the arena.
Roman Artillery: Anybody got some? We'd love to have it to show off. We have several small
1/3 scale Scorpio's but nothing full size, if anyone wants to do a lecture or demo artillery, let us know, you can use our
Scorpio or your own.
Early Arrivals: If you can come Wednesday or Thursday night to help setup Friday, we'd love the help!!!!
Bring gloves! The Sisal rope eats your hands ( a lesson learned in 2003). We will have soups and stews and
food for our Roman brothers and sisters in arms! The more the merrier!!!!
Bring a ground cloth or pillow for the convivum (to sit on)
ENTERTAINERS!! We are looking for storytellers, poets, singers, dancers, musicians, or anyone
who wants to show off a talent at the convivium! Just for your brother and sister re-enactors, and we promise to clap!

BARBARIANS!! One of our own is looking for followers to fill the ranks of the Cherusci Tribe.
If you want to dress the whole day or just be a Roman turncoat for the battles they will welcome you with open arms.
If interested just contact the Cheiftain at goliathrix@hotmail.com
