Deepeeka's Linen and Hide-covered shields are now much improved and are acceptable
for use. But at the moment they only come pre-painted, so if you want your own emblem you need to repaint. Since
it must be assumed that casein or milk paints will not adhere to the existing paint, this is still a problem for Legio XX
members. Deepeeka claims to offer any of their shields as unpainted "blanks", but it is not known if this includes boss
